The "Golden Book of Cycling was produced by "Cycling" magazine and presented to "the Sport and Pastime of Cycling" in 1933 to record the outstanding rides, deeds and accomplishments of cyclists, officials and administrators. This was continued up until 1972. In 1991 the Pedal Club started "The Pedal Club Golden Book" to continue this tradition.
